Planning an aesthetic treatment around your Istanbul trip
How to fit a consultation, treatment and recovery time into an Istanbul visit, and the questions worth asking the treating clinician before you book flights.

A short trip to Istanbul can include an aesthetic consultation, but the treatment itself is only one part of the plan. Arrival, a first conversation with the treating clinician, the session, a quiet period afterwards and the flight home all need to fit together. Planning the order of those steps early gives you room to make decisions without feeling rushed.
We coordinate visits to partner clinics in Istanbul. We do not carry out treatments, and we do not decide whether a treatment suits you. That decision belongs to the treating clinician after a consultation. What we can do is help you organise appointments, transfers and timing so the medical conversation happens with enough space around it.
Start with the consultation, not the procedure
Many visitors arrive with a specific treatment in mind. It is still worth treating the first appointment as a consultation rather than a confirmed procedure. The clinician may suggest a different approach, a smaller first step or no treatment at all, depending on your skin, anatomy, medical history and goals.
If possible, allow at least a day between arriving and any planned treatment. Travel fatigue, dehydration and a late flight can make it harder to think clearly about consent forms and aftercare instructions. A gap also gives you time to reflect on what was discussed, ask follow-up questions and change your mind if something does not feel right.
Leave room for recovery before you fly
Every treatment has its own aftercare, and the clinician who treats you is the right person to explain it. Some injectable treatments can cause temporary swelling, redness or small bruises at injection points. Energy-based treatments such as laser or HIFU can leave the skin sensitive for a period. How long that lasts varies from person to person, so ask rather than assume.
When you discuss timing, it can help to raise these points:
How soon after the session you can fly, and whether cabin pressure or long periods of sitting are a consideration for this treatment.
Which activities to pause afterwards, such as heat, saunas, intense exercise, sun exposure or alcohol.
Whether a review appointment is typically discussed, and how that would work once you are home.
What signs would mean you should contact the treating practice, and how to reach them from abroad.
Which written aftercare instructions you will receive, and in which language.
A plan that places treatment early in your stay generally leaves more room for a check-in before departure than one scheduled on your final morning. Your clinician will advise what is sensible for the specific treatment.
Questions to ask before you book flights
Some practical details are easier to settle before travel is fixed. Asking them early means your itinerary follows the medical advice rather than the other way round.
Who will carry out the treatment, and what is their professional background?
Which product or device is proposed, and can the exact name be confirmed in writing?
Is any preparation needed, for example pausing certain skincare products? Ask the clinician before stopping any medicine you take regularly.
Would the clinician like to see photos or medical information in advance?
Is more than one session usually discussed for this concern, and how far apart would they be?
Treatment fees are set by the partner clinic and confirmed to you in writing by us before any treatment. Take the time you need before agreeing to anything.
Keeping the rest of your trip flexible
Istanbul is a city many people want to explore on foot, by ferry and through long days out. After some treatments you may be asked to avoid strong sun, heat or heavy exercise for a while. Building flexible days into your itinerary, with indoor options such as museums, galleries or a slower walk through a covered market, makes it easier to follow aftercare without missing out.
If you are thinking about a spa or hammam visit, mention it at the consultation. Heat, steam and exfoliation may not fit a recent aesthetic procedure, so it is often simpler to schedule a hammam earlier in the trip or to agree the timing with your clinician.
How many days should I plan for an aesthetic visit to Istanbul?
It depends on the treatment, your consultation and the aftercare your clinician recommends. Many people prefer to leave space between arrival, treatment and departure. We can help you shape the itinerary once the treating clinician has advised on timing.
Can I have treatment on the same day as my consultation?
Sometimes this is possible, but it is the treating clinician's decision. Leaving time between the consultation and any treatment gives you room to consider the plan and ask further questions.
Do you carry out the treatments yourselves?
No. We coordinate appointments with partner clinics in Istanbul. The assessment, treatment and aftercare are the responsibility of the treating clinician.
If you are starting to plan a visit, our coordinators are happy to talk through dates, appointments and transfers with you over WhatsApp or through the contact form. We will help you arrange the consultation; the medical advice will always come from the treating clinician.

Botulinum Toxin
This page provides detailed, clear information about Botulinum Toxin. Before a plan is agreed, your needs, medical history and suitability are assessed individually. The lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes, which become evident with the movement of the facial muscles, are evaluated individually. Although different purposes such as masseter, gummy smile, lip flip, chin tip or sweating are evaluated under the same procedure name, the dose, anatomy and risk profile are different from each other.
